ANOTHER DOCTOR VISIT

This is Tuli. Today he went to the dogtor, er, doctor for a final once over before surgery. He thought we were just having a pleasant walk on a lovely day. He was wrong. Sorry buddy.

Upon recognizing the situation, Tuli held a protest by sitting down at the front door. He moved only after fully registering his upset. Good! However, when he’s very nervous, Tuli sticks out his tongue. Not so good… I’ve tried explaining that the cuteness isn’t a winning form of discouragement. It’s cute!

This is Tuli waiting politely… for Captain Kirk to save him. Though careful in selecting a magazine, he was too distracted to read.

This is Tuli.

Tuli is a lovely, gentle nine-year old cocker spaniel that we rescued two years ago. He was recently diagnosed with severe glaucoma, which eyedrops have failed to keep under control, and has lost vision in one of his eyes. He desperately needs surgery to relieve the chronic pain caused by the extreme pressure in his eye from glaucoma. Additionally, a tumor is rapidly growing on his “good” eyelid, and is threatening to damage his cornea, so he needs that removed, too.

Can you help Tuli resume his daily activities of scrounging Manhattan pizza crusts and generally being a happy, pain-free, fluffy dog? Every little bit helps!
